Our recorded sound has consistently attracted very high praise from critics for the fidelity and very high quality of the balancing and editing.

However, each 30 second extract of music takes up over 5 MB of disc space on the original CD, and in order to make this available as an audio stream on the Internet, it has been compressed by a factor of about 40 and plays back in mono. These audio samples therefore contain only a small proportion of the information in the original recording.

For those interested, the compression technology used was Macromedia SoundEdit 16 version 2 software and Shockwave Afterburner compressor. As modem speeds and compression technique improves, we hope to replace these samples with progressively higher definition samples.
